It Is What It Is

Original photograph by Eco-Artist John K Melvin. Photograph is of a site specific sculpture by the artist installed in Paonia Colorado. The sculpture was inspired by the artist’s research into the oversight of plastic pollution in organic farming, namely, single use irrigation drip tape. The sculpture was temporarily exhibited for almost a year, and has since been responsibly disposed of. The artist continues to maintain community contacts in hopes of establishing a recycling program or irrigation alternative for the community.
The image is 26.5 x 26.5 cm plus a 3cm border for mounting.
1st Edition is limited to 25. Each limited-edition print ships with a signed certificate of edition, and each print has a custom embossed artist signature on the lower right border of the print. These two forms of certification create a truly unique piece of art for any collection. The artist suggests it be displayed with a 2-inch archival white window mat framing the print just beyond the embossed signature, and all enclosed in a low profile matte black studio frame with UV glass or acrylic glazing.
